April starts this year at the beginning of Holy Week, with Palm Sunday commemorating Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem. On Maundy Thursday, our Reader, Dr Brian Davis, will have the honour of receiving Maundy Money from His Majesty The King at York Minster. St Briochus will be marking the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, leading up to the wonderful celebration of the Resurrection at our Communion Service, led by the Reverend Sean Clancy, on Easter Sunday. Following Easter, prayers will be said for the King, our nation and the world in preparation for the Coronation of Charles III. There will be a special parish Service of Celebration for the Coronation on Sunday, 7th May at St Briochus at 11am. All are extremely welcome. The next Coffee Morning and Cake Sale will take place on Easter Saturday, 8th April, at the Church Room, Lezant - please do come and join us!
