Five pet dogs joined Laneast congregation on Sunday for a Pet Service. The dogs were very well behaved, joining in with the singing on occasion, but mostly sitting quietly and making the most of the fuss made of them. The dogs clearly came from a noble background: they were called Princess Leia; Sir Lancelot; King Arthur; Moses; and Merlin.

Following the service the humans present tucked into a delicious tea of home baked cakes and biscuits.
