A joyful family service, where children can make a special symbol, the Christingle. The Christingle is an orange wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top to represent the story of God’s love for the world at Christmas. The Christingles are lit during the service as beacons of light, love and hope.

St Gennys Parish Church

Welcome to the parish church of St Gennys, set on the beautiful clifftops of North Cornwall, but still very much at the heart of this rural community.

We are an Anglican church, part of the Boscastle Group of Churches, in the Deanery of Stratton. We are in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall, England.

We have a regular, monthly Eucharist Service, on the first Sunday of the month, as well as at other times during the year. Please refer to our 'Services and Events' or find us on Facebook. If you live in the parish or are just visiting, whether it is your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!
