for 2 hours
Venue
Poundstock: St Winwaloe
Address
Vicarage Lane Poundstock Bude, EX23 0AX, United Kingdom

A new play by Sarah Dickenson, set in Poundstock at the time of the Prayer Book Rebellion, when the Gildhouse was nearing completion, will have its first public reading in St Winwaloe's Church before it goes on to professional production at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter, in October. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of theatre in the making, in the exact setting where the story takes place. Everyone is warmly welcomed to come and watch, and maybe join in a discussion afterwards. There is no need to book, you can stay for the whole reading or for however long you like, and entry is absolutely free. As always on Wednesdays, the Gildhouse will also be open and welcoming visitors, again absolutely free.

Poundstock: St Winwaloe

St Winwaloe's is an ancient building, tucked away in a beautiful setting, where for hundreds of years people have come to seek God, to worship him or simply to bring their troubles and experience quiet and peace. The regular congregation may be small in number but we are a friendly bunch and are always delighted to welcome everyone who comes. We will be so glad to see you.
