Church Services

At Barford St Michael Church, we offer a variety of services to cater to the diverse needs of our community. Here’s a brief overview of each type:

Coffee and Chat: This informal gathering provides a relaxed environment for fellowship and connection. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while engaging in friendly conversation with fellow parishioners. It's a great opportunity to build relationships and share experiences and is suitable for all ages.

Holy Communion: This traditional service is centred around the Eucharist, where we come together to celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Participants reflect on their faith, receive the bread and wine, and engage in prayer and worship. It’s a meaningful way to deepen one’s spiritual journey.

Family Service: Designed for all ages, the Family Service is an inclusive gathering that often features interactive elements such as songs, storytelling, and activities that engage children and adults alike. It aims to foster a sense of community and provide a welcoming atmosphere for families. Music at this service is lively and often includes some very energetic actions!

Family Communion: This service combines the elements of Holy Communion with a family-friendly approach. It includes the sacrament while also incorporating activities for children and a range of music types. This allows families to share in the experience together, making it a nurturing and inclusive worship opportunity.
