About Us

Welcome to Barford St Michael Church! We are a warm and friendly community, where everyone is invited to experience the love and joy of worship, regardless of age or background. As part of the Deddington Benefice, which includes Hempton Church, Barford St John Church and Deddington Church, we share in the mission of supporting and enriching the spiritual lives of our congregation and the wider community.

We are particularly passionate about creating a welcoming space for children. We understand the importance of nurturing young hearts and minds in the faith, which is why we provide Mini Worshipper Bags filled with activities to engage children during services. In addition, we've recently reorganized the church to create a special children's area, complete with toys and craft materials, so little ones can play and explore in a safe and creative environment while still being part of our worship.
