The Parish Church of St. Michael & All Angels, Bude Haven, built in1834 - 1835 and consecrated in 1835, was the gift of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland. Built of stone from Trerice-in-Newlyn, it stands on the southern side of the harbour, approached by Church Path. Built originally as a Chapel of Ease to nearby Stratton Church, it later became the Parish Church of Bude Haven.
There are no printed records available earlier than the third incumbency, but it is clear that the liturgy at St. Michael's always embraced the fullness of English traditional worship which is so cherished here today. The focus of our worship is the Eucharist or Mass, which is sung on Sundays and other Feast Days, with regular said Mass during the week.
