Bells

The Treble bell is the oldest, cast around 1430 by William Chamberlain of London. It bears the legend "HEC NOVA CAMPANA MARGARETA EST NOMINATA" (This new bell is named Margaret).

The Second bell was cast in 1622 by Thomas Pennington of Exeter. It bears the legend "VOCOR PRUDENTIA VOCO VENITE PROVERB IX (The voice of Prudence calls come).

The Tenor bell was cast in 1777 by John, Christopher, and William Pennington of Stoke Climsland. It bears the legend "RICHARD BUCKLAND VICAR THOMAS HOSKINS AND JOHN RETALLACK C.W. 1777.

The bells are currently only chimed due to the condition of  the tower, bellframe, and fittings.
