Weddings, Blessings and Renewal of Vows

Congratulations!

It is great news that you are getting married, would like a blessing of your marriage or want to renew your vows. We are delighted that you are considering this within a church setting as this indicates that there is something spiritual in what you are proposing to do. 

GETTING MARRIED

You are eligible to get married at St Probus and St Grace church if, either of you has at any time lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months or was baptised in the parish concerned or was prepared for confirmation in the parish or has at any time regularly gone to normal church services in the parish church for a period of at least 6 months

                        or, 

if one of your parents, at any time after you were born: has lived in the parish for a period of at least 6 months or has regularly attended church services in the parish church for a period of at least 6 months

                        or, 

if either your parents or grandparents were married in the parish

If, you are unsure which parish you live in the easiest way is to visit the A Church Near You website and enter your postcode.
