God's Assurance of Hope for Mankind
It’s Harvest Festival time when we give thanks for what has been grown and provided for us. We also give thanks to those who labour hard year on year on farms, small holdings and on fishing boats large and small.
This Sunday 6 October 2024 we have our Harvest Festival service at 9.30am followed by refreshments afterwards.
This year we are seeking donations of fruit, vegetables and other produce for distribution to the vulnerable, lonely and older people in the town and wider parish as well as non perishable donations to top up the Parish Pantry in Church.
If you have donations for the Harvest Festival please bring them into Church from Friday onwards ideally leaving them in the pews close to the belfry.
If you’d like to get involved in decorating the church / church windows or can offer any help in distributing the harvest gifts the following week please message Andrew on 07768 893076.
