We were unsure how many children would visit, but were delighted that over 100 came through the church doors. Both the children and parents seemed delighted that the church had involved the community and many commented on how beautiful the church was.
One delightful and rather poignant event happened the next day, just before our All Soul's Service. A small boy and his mother came into the church with his candle and asked if he could light it and leave it in the church to remember a relative that had died.
