St Mary

Welcome to St Mary's Witnesham.
We're a friendly group of people who get together every week in our lovely parish church for the Sunday service at 10.00. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays it's Morning Worship, and on the 2nd and 4th Sundays it's a Communion service. If there's a 5th Sunday in the month, check the events page to see where and what it is - it moves around between Witnesham, Tuddenham and Westerfield!

Tea, coffee and squash are available afterwards, and you're welcome to stay and chat, or trundle off to enjoy the rest of your day.

Mid-week prayers
Not everyone can or wants to do, church on Sunday. So there's a 30 minute more informal service at 9.30am on Tuesdays

We're online too!
Have a look round the church and check out the facebook page and website.

Donating
St Mary's is part of the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) - an easy, secure way to give - which is simple, reliable, and removes the weekly hassle of cash and envelopes. There are 3 ways to give:
1. Just scan the QR code to go straight to the PGS page
2. Call the PGS team on 0333 002 1271 Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
3. Download the PGS gift form for St Mary's, fill in and post.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Heather Cade on [email protected] 01473 785464 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
