Holy Communion (3rd Sunday in month)

Occurring
Every Third Sunday at for 50 mins
Venue
Westley, St Mary
Address
Hill Road Westley Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3TL, United Kingdom

A welcoming, uncomplicated service for everyone, whether or not you are a regular confirmed churchgoer; a chance perhaps to make space to enjoy a short time of quiet. A revised, more 'user friendly' Holy Communion service booklet (Common Worship) is used. The service includes two hymns and lasts about 40 minutes. Toys and books available for children (who are always very welcome) in the carpeted area at the back of the church. Coffee, tea and biscuits are served after the service, giving the congregation the opportunity to chat if they wish.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Westley is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police on 999 or your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of St. Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our parish Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the Benefice Safeguarding Officer Sarah Lockhart 07885 597051 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Karen Galloway 07785 621319 or [email protected]
