A Celebration of Coronations

As the country prepares for the Coronation of King Charles III, you are invited to join us for an evening of words and music reflecting Coronations past and present. the programme has been devised and will be presented by Canon Derek Johnson, it will include pieces ranging from the serious to the light hearted. He will be supported by fellow members of the Friston Players, Carolyn Ridgeon and Sheila Griffiths and local groups, 5 in a Bar and the Strumming Birds. Admission is free, any donations will go towards the upkeep of the Church.

St Mary's strives to be an integral part of the Friston community. Our church and churchyard are open daily between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm.

The church is open to all for private prayer, contemplation and reflection. But you are welcome just to pop in and have a look inside.

We hold weekly services and celebrations throughout the year for the Church's major festivals.

We take heart from the many who frequently come to tend the graves of loves ones and ancestors, with visitors from far and wide.

We welcome you to sign our Visitors Book inside the church.

If you feel able, and would like to make a donation, this would be much appreciated to help us to maintain our medieval building.
