“There's No Place Like Home” explores the theme of finding "home", safety, comfort and belonging within a chosen LGBTQ+ family and within yourself, after a time of feeling lost, off-course or misplaced. As well as music, we will also hear from some of the choir members in various forms about what “home” means to them.

Owing to the theme, TVGC are partnering with Stonewall Housing, the leading national charity supporting LGBTQ+ people of all ages who live in the UK and are experiencing homelessness or living in an unsafe environment. Founded in 1983, they provide specialist housing advice, advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They have specialisms in Mental Health, Domestic Abuse, Substance Misuse and Supported Accommodation.
“We’re so grateful to the Thames Valley Gay Chorus for supporting the work of Stonewall Housing with this special event. Thank you for raising your voices for vulnerable LGBTQ+ people across the UK! There really is No Place Like Home” – Claire Linacre-Hilton, Director of Development at Stonewall Housing
