Many people have been stunned by the ferocity of the violence unleashed between Israel and Hamas/Hezbollah/ Palestinians/Iran over the last 12 months. Subsequent disturbances in many towns and cities across the world have stirred anger, hatred and fear, and religious leaders have joined with community leaders and organisations to call for calm and respect. But what of religious voices? This event aims to focus on religious perspectives on the conflict and respectful dialogue from three faith communities. Peace has always seemed elusive but will it forever remain so?

After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and comments, followed by refreshments.

The event will be live-streamed through YouTube. Search, subscribe and watch at @ReadingMinster.

The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
