Our services

We have a service at 10.30am every Sunday except when there is a fifth Sunday in the month. Our regular pattern of services is :

1st Sunday: Celtic Morning Prayer. This is led by a team of church members and uses the liturgy produced by the Northumbria Community.

2nd Sunday: Morning Worship

3rd Sunday: Holy Communion using the order of service in Common Worship.

4th Sunday: Fourth Sunday Worship. An informal service led by a team of church members.

5th Sunday: joint Benefice service in one of the churches in the benefice.

We have occasional special services throughthe year (see our Services and Events page), the biggest of which is our carol service on Christmas Eve.

There is also a Benefice-wide service of Celtic Morning Prayer on a Friday morning at 9am and Celtic Evening Prayer on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. Both of these are on Zoom and use the liturgy produced by the Northumbria Community. To join in please email Revd Chrissie Smart using the Get in Touch page.
