Funerals and Scattering of Ashes

Please contact the Rector directly If you wish to scatter the ashes of a loved one in the churchyard.

During the current epidemic, certain restrictions on funerals have been imposed by the Government and the Church of England nationally.  However, we continue to be committed to ensuring that a dignified and reverent service of farewell is available to all parishioners, recognising that everyone is known and loved by God. 

Co-ordinating all aspects of the funeral is an important task of the funeral director, so please ask your funeral director to be in touch directly with the Rector to make arrangements.  A member of the ministry team will then be in touch to meet you and plan the service.  If you need a recommendation the Rector can suggest a trusted local firm of funeral directors - contact him directly if this might be helpful.
