Revd Dee Jones and her husband Revd Nigel Jones will be leading this course. We have a lovely fellowship group with people from all walks of life , at different stages of their faith and of different adult age groups . All are welcome 🙏
This is a Birmingham Church of England accredited certificates course and can lead to other forms of ministerial training .
The course is divided into four modules, which can be run as separate courses:

1
Being with God
7 SESSIONS
2
Becoming like Christ
6 SESSIONS
3
Joining in with the Spirit
5 SESSIONS
4
Knowing the Bible Story
6 SESSIONS
These can be done separately as one-off modules, or run one after the other to complete the whole course. It is best to run them in order – the first module, Being with God, lays foundations for the rest.

The course does not just give information, but has been shaped to help people to grow in their lived experience. It aims to grow deeper understanding, but more importantly to grow character and change lives by emphasising the practices which help us live as disciples every day.

Module 2 is a 6 week course ( Christmas breaks accommodated ).
SESSION 1
JESUS – HIS LIFE
Why do disciples aim to “become like Christ”? Why is knowing Jesus central to knowing God better? How can a human being be God? How does this help us in becoming like Christ? How did Jesus demonstrate a spiritually healthy life?

This course runs in school term time only
