About Us

St Mary's is home to an active and growing Christian community today. There are two services on a Sunday offering very different styles of worship and many activities during the week. We invite people to join us, whether you live locally, or are visiting Bury St Edmunds.

We run Energize - a group for primary school aged children - every Sunday during the 9:15am service. We aim to offer children a safe and fun way to learn from the Bible and explore what faith means to them, using a variety of learning styles, including games, quizzes, videos, crafts, prayer and music. 

We also run a youth session on Sunday mornings at our 9.15 service called NEXTGEN, for year 7 and up learning more about Jesus in a fun and relevant way,

Our monthly youth group meets at the Thomas Clarkson Centre on Hospital road on the second Sunday of every month at 7pm, with games and snacks and some Christian teaching and support.
