Grace2 / Saturday 14th October

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
Grace - Ealing
Address
St Mary's Church St Mary's Road Ealing London, W5 5RH, United Kingdom

In 2005 at a Grace weekend we came up with an ethos (long and short list) to sum up our values and to be a touchpoint for us in the years ahead - a reminder of what we hope to do and be as Grace.

In the run-up to our 30th anniversary in November, we thought it would be good to revisit the ethos - does it still work for us? We have changed, the times have changed, does our ethos need to change, in order to represent and guide us now and in the future?

This will be a cafe-format evening - please bring food and drink to share.

Grace - Ealing

Grace is a community that is one of the congregations of St Mary's Ealing.

We do church differently - take a look at our website www.freshworship.org to get a feel for what we do and how we do it. Creativity has always been central to who we are - no two services are the same. But we do have a ‘look and feel’ - relaxed, reflective, informal, ambient music and visuals, creative activities and discussion, a cafe for hanging out afterwards (which is why we do it on a Saturday!).

We are a community that has evolved over 30 years, exploring the Christian faith through contemporary culture and creativity in ways that make sense to ourselves. We hope that what we do also makes sense to people who are outside the Church for whatever reason. We’re used to welcoming visitors, local and global - we don’t set any expectations, we’re just glad to meet them and hope they get something out of it!

More details can be found on our website at www.freshworship.org or by emailing [email protected]
