Candlelit Vigil for Ukraine

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
Bury St Edmunds, St Edmundsbury Cathedral
Address
Angel Hill Bury St Edmunds Bury Saint Edmunds, IP33 1LS, United Kingdom

On February 24, 2023, we mark one year since the start of the ongoing tragedy in Ukraine – the invasion of Russian troops on Ukrainian soil. Every day, our brothers and sisters in Ukraine face difficulties and loss. As we come together in prayer, remember those who have fallen and support those who continue to fight for freedom and safety. May our unity bring hope for a brighter future when peace is restored.

Join us at 5.30 pm for a service with the Cathedral Choir, led by Bishop Martin and Ukrainian liturgy led by Fr Bohdan Сhyborak. We invite Ukrainian families, host families and guest from Suffolk Community.
