About Us

St Mary Newmarket is a Forward in Faith and a Society parish under the pastoral and sacramental care of the Rt Revd Norman Banks, Bishop of Richborough and our worship is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England with music and incense. 

St Mary's is a very friendly church with strong links to the town and to the horse racing community. The congregation is drawn from an area far wider than its parochial boundaries and it is always a pleasure to welcome newcomers, visitors and old friends alike. 

St Mary's is always pleased to receive enquiries for Baptisms, Weddings, Blessings and Funerals from anyone with a qualifying connection to the parish.
