This Advent we will be celebrating the amazing messages which the angels brought, as written about in the Bible. We want to make this Christmas time special for everyone by filling every part of the Church and Churchyard with angels of all sizes, shapes and interpretations. How can you get involved? We would love for you to help us make this festival a wonderful time for the community. The Bible tells us about encounters with angels, but we do not know what they actually look like- so please use your imagination and creativity. Your angel(s) can be made in whatever material you would like, they can be big or small, made of paper, card, fabric, pottery, knitted, felted, crafted, painted. This is to reflect the 600 year anniversary of the Church’s angel roof, which we hope will be an inspiration.TimingsThe time for decorating will be Friday 25th November 2022 and Saturday 26th November 2022, 10:00 - 15:00 for bringing your Angel(s) and setting up. The Amazing angel festival will be launched on Advent Sunday Nov.27th at 4pm with a short interactive service. Wednesday 4th January 2023 and Thursday 5th January 2023 10.00- 15.00 for Taking down of the angel installations and for cleaning of the Church. If you or your organisation wish to take part please contact Rev'd Sue (01638 711390) or Suzy officestmm@gmail.com.
