Getting here

St John's Beck Row is a friendly church with strong ethos of caring for the people of the village at the heart of its mission.

With strong congregational participation in a wide range of activities, and a willingness to try new things and new forms of worship, the St John’s Church family is keen to welcome new members.

St John’s maintains strong links with the nearby USAF airbase as well as with World War Two veterans and their families. American servicemen and women and their families are often a welcome part of the congregation.

Open to all, St John’s remains an important part of community life.
Other features include a the largest war graves cemetery in Suffolk which is the resting place of many brave young commonwealth service personnel including the forever young Australian V.C. Middleton. Who is Pilot Officer Rawdon Hume Middleton

Adjacent to the church is our large Church Hall and this is where we gather after the service for refreshments.
From 11th October 2020 our Sunday services are every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 9.30am. (1st and 3rd Sundays are at St Laurence & St Peter Church, Eriswell)

Please check our Notice Board for when there is a 5th Sunday in the Month as worship arrangements may vary in venue with other churches in the group.

The church has a loop hearing system and toilet facilities
The church is also child friendly and has an activity area at the back of the church.

A very warm welcome awaits you at St Johns Church. Do call in and see us!
