ALL SAINTS DAY

On 1st November we will celebrate All Saints Day at St Peters Church, Milden. The service will start at 10.15am and it is a Common Worship Holy Communion one with the Very Rev Philip Buckler in attendance.
St Peters Church, Milden is a dear medieval Church which has amazing acoustics and so enhances the singing of everyone there.
Refreshments will be served afterwards.

SERVICE OF LIGHT AND LIFE

At 3pm on All Saints day, there will be a service of Light and Life where we remember all those who have died this past year as well as those who have died and we still hold dear. The names of those who are no longer with us will be read out and we will offer everyone present if they would like to light a candle for their loved one.
This is a lovely reflective service and will be held at the Church St Mary's in Kettlebaston.

Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday will take place outside All Saints Church Chelsworth at 10.15am on Sunday 8th November.
This is the day we remember all who have fallen in the conflicts our country has been involved in around the world and will be centred near the grave of a young man who fell in action.
Rev Richard Stainer will be leading the service and the talented Joel Cooper will be be playing the trumpet.
This will be a very moving service.

Food for Thought

This is a lunch time gathering for the Benefice of Monks Eleigh whereby we meet on the 3rd THURSDAY of each month at The Chapel during the Winter months.
We aim to share our thoughts on passages from the Bible however during January 2024 and into the new year we plan on using extracts from the book by David Watson on the Holy Spirit.
We bring our own lunches but teas and coffees are provided.

You are most welcome to come and join us and learn and share your thoughts with us.

Thursday 16th November 2023 will be the last 'Food for Thought' for this year. We will continue in 2024 as we have been doing throughout 2023.
