We were SO fortunate after all the awful weather lately, to have a lovely sunny day at more or less the right temperature for those of us who like to describe ourselves as 'having lived longer'.  We expected about a dozen people but were delighted when 20 folk, from both Padbury and Adstock, spent a very pleasant couple of hours 'chatting and chomping', not to mention drinking tea.

We gather again next week, on Thursday, 17 August at St Mary's Church from 2 pm until 4 pm,   to spend an afternoon relaxing and 'colouring in'.  Of course there will be tea and cake and anybody is welcome to join us.
