An Illustrated Talk by Peter Palmer took place on Tuesday 11th June, it was very well attended and £280 was raised in donations for The ReOrdering Project. Wine, soft drinks and nibbles were offered and a raffle took place. Auction of 1950's painting of All Saints Church, Stanton has gone off to its new home.Thank you to everyone that attended and especially Peter Palmer for his very interesting Talk.
We are now in the process of applying for grants and raising funds for our reordering project. By the end of this phase of work we hope to have extra new heating, a kitchenette and servery, a glass outer door which will make it easy to see what’s going on before you enter and also help to keep us warmer, and the north door will be reopened with a new glass door giving us a flat entrance for those with mobility issue and those with little ones in buggies.
