The Great Fifty Days of Eastertide reaches its conclusion with the Feast of Pentecost. It is the day when the Church celebrates the arrival of the promised Holy Spirit. Pentecost is regarded as the birthday of the Christian Church, and marks the start of the Church's mission to the world
