All Saints & All Souls Sunday 2023 (Online Holy Communion)

Occuring
for 5 days, 13 hours, 59 mins
Venue
Address

Today in our Church year we reach the Feast of All Saints and All Souls.

All Saint's Day celebrates men and women in whose lives the Church has seen the grace of God powerfully at work and to give thanks for their example.

All Soul's Day commemorates the faithful departed, those people whom we have loved but see no more.

Our services in our churches continue as normal, however, we recognise that through ill health, frailty, or infirmity, not everyone is able to join us every week. Therefore, if you are unable to attend in person, you are warmly invited to join in with our Rector, The Revd Mark Woodrow, who is joined by our new Curate, The Revd Dr Karen Smith, as he celebrates Holy Communion from the Vicarage.

The readings for today are Daniel 7:1-3, 15-18, Ephesians 1:11-23, and Luke 6:20-31.

The hymns for today are, For all the saints who from their labours rest, and, The day thou gavest, Lord is ended.

A service booklet to accompany this weeks service is available to download below or please email [email protected] for a copy.
