Hawkedon, St Mary

Clearly visible from all directions and said to be the only church in the centre of a village green, this mediaeval Grade 1 listed building contains many interesting features and artworks and includes a fine, restored, organ. The church is physically central in the village and the aim is to make the Church spiritually central to the Hawkedon community as well.
