We gather for morning worship every third Sunday of the month at 11am. The service often includes Holy Communion and is always informal with hymns, prayer and thanks giving. Afterwards we enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits. We are a friendly, inclusive and eclectic bunch and enjoy meeting new people, especially if they are accompanied by their dog.

The church is only accessible by foot, along a narrow track. Whilst every effort is made with our limited resources to maintain access, it remains relatively inaccessible for those less able to walk.

St Mary the Virgin, Depden

Welcome to St Mary’s Church, Depden.

Our little medieval church is hidden in the woods, half a mile from the road and only accessible by foot. Local people have worshiped in this place for hundreds of years. It is a place of retreat, refuge, tranquillity and peace and is much loved.

We are working to ensure that the church remains at the centre of our village community providing fellowship, friendship, care and support. Everyone is welcome wherever you are on your journey with Christ; firm believers, doubters and those not sure alike.

You are welcome to join our monthly Sunday worship and join us for refreshments afterwards.
