Coronation Celebrations in Swilland

You are warmly invited to join with your fellow villagers to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on Sunday 7th May 1-3pm, which will be taking place in Church Lane, Swilland.
Tables and benches will be provided so just bring along your own picnic and choice of drink.
If you have any coronation bunting or decorations, please bring them along to decorate the tables.
We will distribute Swilland Coronation medals to any children at the party who have not receive one through Witnesham School. (In case of inclement weather, the party will be held within St Mary's Church, Swilland so don't be put off by our British weather).

Swilland, St Mary

Fascinating small church with unique tower, attractive reredos, rare organ, and Queen Anne plaque. Relatively recent archeological inspection dates building from Saxon times. The church is open every day, with portable disabled ramp access, and hosts short tours for interested groups. At present we have no toilet but have future plans to remedy the situation with a proposed new facility
