Our beautiful Church will be open from 10 am to 6 pm as part of the annual Oxford Open Doors festival and RIde + Stride for Oxfordshire Historic Churches events. St Clement's was the first church to be built on a new site in Oxford, since the Middle Ages.

Built 1825 to 1827, replacing our medieval church building on The Plain, in a Romanesque revival style. In recent years, there has been a minor reordering inside the church and major renovation of the external stonework.

You can see our thirteenth century bell - the oldest in Oxford - and our stained glass windows, which were originally in the demolished St Martin's Church on Carfax, in Oxford city centre.

Today, we are a diverse and thriving church family in the open evangelical tradition of the Church of England. We’re passionate about Jesus, we want to be authentic, and we long to see lives transformed by God’s love

St Clement's Church Oxford

We are a diverse community of worshippers, meeting in our Church building on Marston Road in the heart of east Oxford every Sunday at 1030 and 1830. All of what we do and what we believe is inspired by our faith in Jesus Christ.
