This will be the 20th consecutive year of the Christmas Tree Festival where individuals, groups and organizations have been invited to decorate a tree. This year the theme of the festival is Hope, Peace and Love, with the intention of highlighting the Christian element of Christmas.

The festival begins with the 'Grand Lights Switch-on' on Friday 22nd November at 6pm by Charlie Haylock, a noted local outhor and raconteur. The church will then be open on Saturday 23rd November from 9am to 3pm and on Sunday 24th November from 11:30am to 4pm.

After this, the festival will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm up to and including 24th December.

On 10th and 17th December from 5:30pm to 7:30pm there will be two special 'Sensory Evenings', for those with particular sensory needs who would appreciate being able to visit without any unnecessary noise. These will be two quiet evenings with no music.

If you'd like to come to see the trees lit up at night, there are two late opening evenings on Thursdays 12th and 19th December from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

There is no charge to visit, but donations are gratefully received to help with the upkeep of our ancient church building.
