This will be the 20th consecutive year of the Christmas Tree Festival where individuals, groups and organizations are invited to decorate a tree. This year the theme of the festival is Hope, Peace and Love, with the intention of highlighting the Christian element of Christmas. Choose a traditional carol (not in copyright), a poem that is not in copyright or put your own thoughts to paper and decorate your tree accordingly. The event will run from Friday November 22nd 2024 to Tuesday 24th December 2024.

If you would like to decorate a tree, an application form can be found on our Eventbrite site which is open until 29th October 2024. Just go to https://www.stowmarketparishchurch.co.uk/ctf/christmas-tree-festival/ and click on the word Eventbrite. Paper copies are also available in the church office or on the desk at the back of the church. If you have any difficulties, please contact [email protected]. After you have completed a form we will be in touch to acknowledge your application and to answer any questions you may have.

A list of suggestions to get you started can also be found in church or in the church office, but we encourage you to think big and be creative. Visitors do appreciate all the time and care spent to produce such wonderfully decorated trees. Guidelines and details of times when the church will be open will be given out nearer the date.
