REMEMBRANCE SERVICES On the 12th of November 2023, we come together on Remembrance Sunday, a cherished national occasion, to honour the unwavering service and profound sacrifice of those who have steadfastly defended our freedoms, preserving the very essence of our way of life. Our day at ASK begins with a gentle 8:30am Holy Communion, setting a reverent tone for the morning. At 10am, we gather for a Remembrance Service commencing at the church and later we walk to unite with uniformed organisations in solemnity, culminating in a poignant 11:00 am 2 minute of silence at the Legion Green, Ropes Drive. As the day draws to a close, at 6pm, Sunday the 12th of November 2023, a simple yet deeply significant Ceremony of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial, Ropes Drive. This moving tribute will be followed by the symbolic lighting of the Beacon. In Little Bealings, the Remembrance Service will commence at 10am, providing a meaningful moment of reflection.
