Everyone is welcome at St Margaret's.
Whoever you are and wherever you are in life you will be welcome among this inclusive community of people as we seek to love and serve God and neighbour. From choral services to café church that embrace a mix of traditional and contemporary music we embrace and cherish a diverse variety of worshipping traditions. Together in fellowship, the old and the not yet old join the young and the young at heart as we seek to make God's love known in our lives and in the world.
The church community gathers in a beautiful Grade 1 listed building, parts of which date from the 12th Century, which stands at the edge of the centre of Suffolk’s county town, Ipswich, next to the town’s impressive Christchurch Park and Mansion. We are blessed with close links to St Margaret's Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School and a Church Centre located just across the road from the church which is home to church activities and a myriad of community groups.
The church is open daily for visiting and prayer - offering a retreat from the busy-ness of today's world.
