Ipswich, St Francis

Welcome to St Francis! We are a small friendly Church at the heart of Chantry, who love God and love our community. We are all quite different in what we like when it comes to style of worship and we work hard to make sure everyone can connect with God in their own way, so our services are a mixture of modern worship songs, hymns and children's action songs! Sometimes the priest wears robes, sometimes they don't. Sometimes we have a traditional service, sometimes we sit around tables with cups of tea and coffee and chat about a Bible story and have prayer activities. Do have a look at our service rota to see what's happening. You're very welcome to join in with as much or as little as you like! We'd love to meet you; please do drop in and say hi!

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Ipswich Saint Francis with Saint Clare, Chantry and Pinewood is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Sue Strutt or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Karen Galloway on 07785 621319 or email [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
