The costs of running our church, whether that's major items like the recent roof renewal or just the day-to-day heating, lighting, cleaning and maintenance, fall not to some centralised budget (as some might think), but to local donations. That's cash on the plate on Sundays, our card reader, regular standing orders, events and appeals. We are immensely grateful to the many who give, generously and often, to help this very special church.
We are always looking for new ways to make giving as easy as possible, whether that's online or via a phone call. The Parish Giving Scheme is a well-established charitable enterprise set up to do just that.
You can call the PGS Scheme on 0333 002 1271 to discuss making a donation, whether regular or one-off. Quote Shelley All Saints 330633067 when asked.
Or you can join the scheme through the PGS website, here.
It's easy to do and you have complete control. If you normally put something on the plate you can even leave a token instead, to confirm your gift is coming through the PGS Scheme rather than cash.
The scheme makes sure All Saints benefits from any Gift Aid that can be added to your donation. That turns every £1 given into £1.25.
If you already give through a bank standing order you might want to consider using the PGS scheme instead - but you don't have to!
Why not give it a try?
