St Mary's Church, Lt. Blakenham.

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Little Blakenham, an historic Grade I listed building which stands proudly tucked away at the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful rural landscape. There has been a church on this site since at least the 13th Century and inside can be found some medieval wall paintings which were bricked up until their discovery in the 1850's, and although unfortunately repainted at the time, remain a wonderful piece of historical art and history.

"The parish of Little Blakenham: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
