About Us

This church is all that remains of the medieval church of St Mary's in Chitterne. The churchyard is still in use and the Chancel is open for private prayer and reflection. In the summer months the mid-week Wednesday Evening Prayers take place in the Chancel, rather than in the main, Victorian church in the village, as does the Bible Study on the 1st Sunday of the month. In the winter, please note this building has no lighting or heating, and so we do not use it for services.
