This very popular event kindly hosted by Mr & Mrs Burrows in their spectacular gardens was another great success taking place in a welcome window of dry and sunny weather in an weekend of horrendous wind, rain, thunder and lightening.

Well over 300 people turned out on 6th July despite a week of bad weather and an England football match on TV. They were rewarded with a great performance by the It's Fete function band and a fun flag-waving sing-along led by Lisa Roberts in glorious sunshine. It may have been a bit chilly for some in July but most came well prepared - after all we are in England. The Concert raised £3,030 for Barham Church fabric fund and we collected £227 at the gate for DEC Ukraine Appeal in return for flags. All is now cleared up, bills paid and we are assured that there was no damage to those beautiful lawns that won't quickly repair itself.

Over the 16 concerts we have held here since 2007, we have raised over £47,000 for the Church Fabric Fund. This has made a huge contribution to all the work we have had to do to maintain and improve our c800 year-old over that period for this and future generations. Thank you for your support
