About Us

St Gabriel’s Church, is the Church of England congregation on Kings Hill, who meet in the Discovery School every Sunday and at special festivals through the year. We are a growing congregation of all ages/generations, shaped by the word and spirit of God, who worship together weekly, pray daily and serve our community generously, because of and in the power of Christ.

On a Sunday you will find us at The Discovery School and you will join a good mix of Children, Young People, Families, Singles, semi-retired and retired people, really, a good representation of the Kings Hill Community. We have groups for children and young people on Sundays and a mix of worship, with Holy Communion twice a month and an interactive all together worship on the third Sunday of the month. We welcome all to our services on Sunday mornings and to the various groups that go on through the week.

We are community focused and try to provide activities for Kings Hill that bring the community together and serve the needs of the diverse and growing Kings Hill Community.

We work together closely with the two parish churches of St Lawrence, Mereworth and St Mary's, West Malling who's parish boundaries the Kings Hill area currently sits in. This means that depending on where you live on Kings Hill, you have qualifying connections for marriage or baptisms to those churches, but the services would generally be led by St Gabriel's Church using the parish buildings of the other Churches.
