OUR BENEFICE QUIET DAY is on 18th September 2024 at Framlingham College Pavilion
and is being led by Revd. Brynn Bayman, the chaplain there. It is entitled ‘Christianity –
the ultimate solution?’
Those of you who heard Brynn’s sermon at St Mary’s a few months back will remember
that he brings verve and good humour to his preaching. The day is guaranteed to be
stimulating with plenty of time for quiet reflection too. We will begin at 10am and finish
at 3.30pm.
There is a sign-up sheet at the back of church where you can also indicate if you
need a lift. Attendees are asked to bring a packed lunch with all other refreshments
provided. Directions for how to get there will be sent out in due course. The day will
cost £15, with cash on the door please. For any queries please contact Caroline Tel.
01394 387848.

Safeguarding

Our Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer (BSO). Our Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the BSO, Jeremy Hawksley - [email protected]; our Deputy Safeguarding Officer, Barbara Stear - [email protected]; or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Karen Galloway - [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
