We are pleased to announce a new initiative from the Church Urban Fund, to create a weekly Place of Welcome at St Mary's House in the heart of Market Hill. This will be every Friday from 12.30pm to 2pm, and our volunteers will provide tea & coffee, 'soup and sarnies' (including toasted sandwiches!), entirely free of charge (although any donations are welcome). Anyone is welcome to come along, and we will offer you a warm welcome, friendly faces, and a place to chat. We are doing this with the cold & difficult winter months in mind, so please spread the word!

St Mary's, Woodbridge

Safeguarding

Our Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer (BSO). Our Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the BSO, Jeremy Hawksley - [email protected]; our Deputy Safeguarding Officer, Barbara Stear - [email protected]; or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Karen Galloway - [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
