What could be better than getting on your bike lesson up your boots to explore historic churches on a sunny September weekend? What about if you also helping to support those churches by raising sponsorship money along the way. Ride + stride for churches is a sponsored bike ride or walk between churches exploring and enjoying the countryside from Cornwall to Northumberland takes place on the second Saturday in September every year. This weekend is also part of Heritage open days, so thousand the churches are open to visit across England. The money raised helps to repair churches, chapels and meetinghouses throughout the UKVisit the ride and stride website to find links to your local trust, register to take part and download sponsorship forms or just to find more information

A warm welcome awaits you as you wander around our little church on the hillThe village hall will be selling refreshments all day - tea and coffee, cakes, sandwiches and cream scones In the church grounds will be a marquee with pre-loved items, tombola and gamesThe bar will be open in the village hall between 12-2pm
