About Us
Our Church, dedicated to St Werburgh, is in a large village called Hoo St Werburgh, on the Hoo Peninsula. The Peninsula is the rural part of Medway in north Kent, separating the rivers Thames and Medway. We overlook the River Medway, facing Gillingham on the opposite bank. You will be guaranteed a warm welcome to any of our services, details of which are easily found on our website.
Our Mission Statement:
"Building a welcoming, caring church family that is growing in faith and reaching out with God's love."
The Anglican churches on the Peninsula work together through the Peninsula Group Council.
Peninsula Churches Statement of Unity:
“We see ourselves as part of the one Church on the Peninsula, committed to respecting one another’s ministries, working and praying together, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
