This is a photograph of St Peter's Church in Thurston, taken from Church Road and featuring the War Memorial on the boundary of the churchyard, where an important part of the Remembrance service is held each year.
The church was built on a slight rise and set into farmland on the edge of the village. Below is the peaceful view across an adjacent field, showing the surrounding mature trees and lush vegetation.
Below that is a photograph of part of the old churchyard outside the side porch to the church itself, where large rose trees flower between the graves.
St Peter's is part of the Benefice of Holy Innocents at Great Barton and Thurston St Peter's.
