Join with our team developing mission and ministry in this part of our Parish at St Thomas More from 9.10am. We say a simple office, have some extemporary prayer and sometimes have time for a brew afterwards.

This 40 minute quiet service of Holy Communion includes the gift of prayer and anointing for healing. You may want to come and offer yourself for this ministry or you may bring someone else for whom you are concerned and we will pray with you by proxy for them. We do not ask you to disclose any more information than a first name.

The service is a common worship, modern language service. It also includes 2 readings from scripture and a simple litany.

This service is an All Age service on the second Sunday of every month. Creche facilities are provided in church and young church stay in the main service.

Other Sundays continue as normal with activities for children in a separate space.

Evensong happens most weeks of the year with the Lancaster Priory choir. However out of term time we say a Book of Common Prayer evening Prayer, sometimes with hymns. Occasionally there is a Taize service instead of Evensong so we advise that you check our church website for up to date information about this week's services.
