About Us
We are part of the Benefice of Shepherds Lees
We are a small friendly community, who try always to give a cordial welcome to all, whether passing visitor or if you are seeking a place for quiet prayer.
Our church of St James' is situated on the A251 and you can't miss us as you come out of Faversham; the building is also an impressive sight coming across the fields. It has two lychgates and a rambling churchyard. It is well situated to offer community space having good facilities including a convenient car park and is currently used by the local primary school, and the parish council.
The church building is open every day and you will find space to be prayerful (place your own prayers in our prayer box). There are some interesting historical features to be discovered.
Our benefice offers a service of Holy Communion every Sunday at 9.30am, which on the 3rd Sunday is in St James, and is followed by a chance to chat over a cuppa. We also hold Morning Worship on the 2nd Sunday at 11am.
You are always welcome!
